Under the warm Bali sun, I tried surfing for the very first time. At first, it felt intimidating watching the waves continuously roll toward the shore, but little by little, all the fear turned into excitement thanks to the support of patient and friendly instructors. Even though I fell off the board several times, the beautiful beach atmosphere and the sound of laughter made the experience incredibly fun. When I finally managed to stand up on the board and ride a wave, I felt a sense of happiness and pride that was hard to describe. That day, I realized that surfing is not only about conquering waves, but also about enjoying the process, trying something new, and feeling freedom in the middle of Bali’s natural beauty.
